The Daily Californian is Berkeley’s student-run newspaper of record. For nearly 150 years, it has trained students in areas of journalism, business and other professional industries. Joining our 400+ person staff is the best way to join an amazing community of content creators, business leaders and programmers.
The Daily Cal is routinely recognized as the premier college newspaper in the country, winning both statewide and national awards each year. We’ve been recognized with more than 40 awards, including 20 first-place awards, within the last three years.
You can apply to up to two of the following positions for our summer session using our application form. Applications are due Friday, May 26, at 11:59 p.m.
