My everlasting homesickness

Although the memories I have of my childhood in China are painful to think about because they remind me of the home I miss so much, holding on to them is the only way to get through it. They remind me of how grateful I should be to have had a home that was filled with love and happiness.


My biggest advice in terms of student discounts is to leech off of your parents’ subscriptions for as long as you’re able. However, once they finally do their due diligence of cutting your broke a** off, I hope you will come back to this article for all of your student discount needs.

Though life in America for international students may not be perfect, an appreciation for all the country offers through its people, culture and opportunities should never be overlooked. Gratitude does not mean ignorance of the pervasive problems facing international students but emphasizes what has been and can be accomplished for those traveling thousands of miles to America’s lecture halls.

As consumer behavior and urban living begin to take over society, it is important that people constantly remind themselves of the importance of getting outside. When I moved to Berkeley, I was determined to find my “go-to” sandwich shop. After a year of searching for some of Berkeley’s best veggie sandwiches, I’ve successfully found three that I think everyone, vegetarian or not, should try!

Walking across campus, everyone seems to be having their main character moment: headphones on, sporting a cardigan/classic black hoodie, a look of determination mixed with exhaustion on their face.
