For the Cal men’s water polo team, its final test won’t be in a classroom, but at USC’s Uytengsu Aquatics Center. The Bears will look to win their third consecutive national title and 17th in team history.

In the last game of the season and with a roster finally at full strength, the Bears were able to shut down their division rival, Stanford, in a 12-8 victory.

After two weeks of break, Cal hopes to engage in final tune-ups against Stanford before MPSF and NCAA Championships. The Bears enter this battle with an 18-4 record, having spent many of the recent games without star player Nikolaos Papanikolaou.

With the Bears being handed their only two losses of the season in the last three games, the upcoming Saturday game can determine if Cal will resume its winning ways.
